Created in August 2009, the Archive was constructed to serve the Ogre Battle community as an image warehouse. Although the site still boasts a large image gallery, the attention has shifted to providing information on the game itself. Thus creating the Ogre Battle 64 Archive we know today!
The Archive is a work in progress, and it may be many more years until it is considered complete. To help it along, much of the information found here can be found on other sites. The Master Resource List houses all the data from where the outside information has come from. If it had not been for peoples efforts in the past, this site would not be what it is today. Its very foundation is in the contributions of others. This fan site merely syntheses all that gathered information and presents it into an easy to find location. |
"Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, sequel to Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, is a strategy-role playing, video game developed by Quest/Nintendo and published by Atlus for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Though basically similar to the original Ogre Battle, it has borne some notoriety for significant game play tweaks that received varied receptions among fandom. Ogre Battle 64 is the sixth entry in the eight-part series but the third game released, the first two being Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, and Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together [...] Despite many Ogre Battle games featuring a Queen song title, "Person of Lordly Caliber" is generally considered an original title."
